 Once your information is received, you will be put on the call list for our next Open Call in your area (occurring approximately every two-three months).
 
Prior to attending an open call, all new talent MUST print out the Talent Registration Information (application form above), complete and mail it (with photographs as noted below) to the address listed above (also listed on the application form). Once your information is received by GD Pros one of the following will occur: You will either be called once an Open Call date in your area is scheduled so we can set up an appointment time to meet with you or if an opportunity comes up that fits your profile before the next scheduled open call we will call you directly to see if your interested and available.

Please Note: All new talent must submit a recent headshot (picture which only shows top of shoulders and face) and full body shot. Professional pictures are not required but are preferred; Polaroid’s, Laser copies or 35 mm pictures are acceptable. Please send up to 5 pictures of yourself; there must be at least one headshot and one full body shots for our files. Applications without pictures will not be considered. You should submit at least 1 photo of you smiling and 1 unobstructed full length body shot.

GD Productions does not accept links to online portfolios or web based modeling sites (such as Facebook, Model Mayhem, etc) as a substitute for sending in photos.

Material sent to GD Productions will not be returned so please DO NOT send original materials. Additionally, it is important we receive your original application materials; please DO NOT fax or email us your application as these types of submissions will be automatically rejected. If you have questions about any of the talent paperwork please call or email us with your questions.
 
 

 

NON Michigan or Ohio Residents:

 

We are currently registering Ohio talent. We are currently not representing talent in any other states besides Michigan & Ohio; in other words we are only registering people who can work in the Michigan & Ohio markets. If you live just outside of Michigan or Ohio but are willing to work in Michigan & Ohio cities without being paid drive time then you’re welcome to register with us.
 
 

 

Talent Under 17 yrs old:

 

GD Pros is not actively representing talent under 17 yrs old. However, since we are a Non-Exclusive Agency it cannot hurt for you to submit your information to us in the chance that we have a client that requests talent under 17yrs old. Therefore we do accept applications from people under 17 yrs old for our files. If you are under 17 yrs old you will not be called to attend an open call; you’ll simply be filed in our records just in case an opportunity comes up that your age/profile fits.



More on Open Calls

Again, Open Calls are held every few months.  At this time we hold Open Calls in 3 areas; Detroit & Grand Rapids in Michigan & Toledo in Ohio. You will be contacted to attend the Open Call that is closest to your area. If you want to be contacted for the 1st Open Call regardless of which city it is being held please make a note on the upper right corner of your Application stating this.
 
 

 

The location of the next Open Call is given below. Walk-ins are not permitted. You must have an appointment time to meet with a GD Pros Representative at an Open Call. 

Open Call Times:

 

 

 

Open Calls are typically held between the hours of 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Only talent that have mailed the required information and picture will be called and given an Open Call appointment time.

Open Call Locations:

 

The facilities GD Pros chooses for our open calls are large enough to comfortably accommodate the number of people that attend as well are located in the areas of the talent we are interviewing.
 
 

 

Why do we not give location directions to New Talent for the Open Call?

 

When working for GD Pros you will typically be in a new location every time you work. We need to know that you are capable and resourceful enough to get to a location you have never been before ………on-time. The clients we work with are always looking for enthusiastic, energetic, approachable and responsible people who can adapt in any environment. Our industry is “unusual”; you could be greeting CEOs at a corporate event one day, then passing out samples at a sporting event the next. Our Industry is Unique and Unusual so when you attend our next “Open Call”, we look forward to meeting the "unique" and “unusual” you.

Open Call Attire: Dressy Casual; something form fitting and flattering.
 
Ladies: we recommend a short skirt, heels and a formfitting top. We need to see your figure. Also, please arrive hair and makeup ready as if you were going to a booking.
 
Gentleman: We recommend that you wear dress slacks or jeans, dress shoes and a nice shirt (Button-up Shirts or Trendy Attire). No Overly Baggy Clothing.

Our next open call will be this Fall in the Detroit area. If your interested in working with us in any of the markets we cover you will need to follow the instructions above and mail in your information as requested. We will contact you when the next open call in your area is scheduled. If you want to be contacted regardless of where the next open call will be held please note that in the materials you will be mailing to us.

Are you already a GD Pros Registered Talent?
If you have previously signed with GD Productions but have not yet met with one of GD Productions representatives or it has been a very long time since your last meeting or booking with us; it is highly recommended that you attend an Open-Call. Meeting with the agent will greatly increase your chances of getting future work.
